Dust Measurements

Dust formation may occur in workplaces as a result of certain activities or processes that can threaten employee health. Dangerous amounts of dust in the workplace can damage the respiratory system of the employees, cause explosions as a result of poisonous chemical interaction and injure employees. In order to determine and prevent these risks in advance, the amount and type of dust in working environments should be measured and monitored periodically.

The hazardous dust concentration in the work environment can trigger some diseases in the employees, cause permanent damage to the respiratory tract or affect the psychology of the employees as it makes working conditions difficult. Employees are not the only risk of dusts at workplaces. It also damages the machinery and equipment in the working environment. This damage will be more pronounced over time and may cause workplace accidents.
